THE RADICAL SABBATICAL

Produced by Phoenix Rising Studios, "THE RADICAL SABBATICAL," tells the story of three musicians who sold all their possessions and traveled America for over a year in a 32-year-old RV dubbed, "The Bicentennial Fireball."

Along the way, the three young men learn a lot about what they're capable of and share music with hundreds of people. The crew rolled into San Luis Obispo, CA with seven dollars between them. They supported themselves by playing music and had three other Central Coast musicians join them to form the mighty band ASHES TO LIGHT. The band has produced two EPs, "Shadow of Huma" (2010) and "Elements" (2012), with Phoenix Rising Studios, and continues to build a loyal following of hundreds of fans.

An original song of Jackson's eighth album produced under the artist name, SYNDETIC. "Sometimes I Wonder" talks about the dream of waking up to a world where everyone is truly alive and happy.
The video was filmed in CA and NV, with a lot of fun being had at Las Vegas' Fremont St. Experience and Red Rock Canyon.

A web promo for the band ASHES TO LIGHT, "LIGHT THE ASHES" showcases the band's unique and diverse rock fusion sound. The promo was produced by Phoenix Rising Studios and features clips of songs off ASHES TO LIGHT's debut EP, "Shadow of Huma," in addition to Jackson's music.

ASHES TO LIGHT is also available for recording songs to be used in soundtracks. The band's primary sound is epic rock fusion but ASHES TO LIGHT is capable of playing and blending any and all genres. In the pilot for What Happens Next?, "BAD WAKEUP," our main characters find themselves beaten up with an ominous note left by the attacker(s). It's your job as the watcher to decide what happens next in this interactive video series. The winning ideas will be filmed and the idea creators will receive film credit, as well as a prize.

TUNE IN: The Greatest Show on the Planet

An original production, "TUNE IN: The Greatest Show on the Planet," was really just an excuse to go smash a TV as a statement against mindless television programming and in support of exploring nature. Mother Earth provides the best entertainment around.
Notice how the story is told not just through imagery but through the music, as well. Try watching the video with the sound off first, then watch it again with the sound on and you'll feel how the music really enhances the video and its story.
